Comparing automated SEO tools without the marketing

Every tool in this category describes itself the same way. The differences that matter are in what happens after the draft, and they are not on anyone's pricing page.

A site audit report showing a score of 73, forty-four pages checked, one critical finding, and a bar splitting the pages into critical, warning, notice and clean.
The audit groups by problem rather than by page, so the list is one you work through.

Why these comparisons are hard to trust

Comparison pages are written by one of the two companies. The feature table is chosen so one column wins, the competitor's row is a year out of date, and the price quoted is the one that makes the point.

So this page does something narrower. It states what Visorank does, in detail you can check against the product. It does not state what RankPill does, because we would be describing a competitor's product from the outside and any specifics we published would go stale without us noticing.

What to check in any tool, including this one

Run these against whatever you are considering. They are the questions that separate a finished job from a draft in a text box.

Does it publish into your CMS, or hand you text?
Visorank posts to WordPress, Shopify, Ghost, Webflow or your own endpoint, resolves the category, and records the post id so a later edit updates that post rather than creating a duplicate.
Can you edit what it wrote, and undo that?
Visorank has a full editor, keeps every previous version, and can push an edit to a live post in one step.
What does it do about AI search?
Visorank scores every article for how quotable it is, writes a direct answer into the opening, emits Article and FAQ schema, and can check whether assistants actually name you.
Does it tell you where its numbers came from?
Visorank names the source of each figure and leaves the space blank when nothing measured one, rather than printing a modelled number you cannot distinguish from a real one.
How does it handle being wrong?
Visorank refuses to publish a draft with an unfilled placeholder, refuses to generate a programmatic page too similar to one you already have, and stops a batch after three refusals rather than spending your allowance on near-duplicates.

What we are not claiming

We are not telling you RankPill lacks any of the above. Check their product and their pricing yourself; both may have changed since you read this.

Visorank is younger and smaller. If you want a long track record and a large support team, that is a real reason to choose something else, and it is worth saying so plainly.

No migration: your articles stay on your own CMS.

Questions worth asking first

What does Visorank cost?

From $35 a month for one article a day, $59 for two, $79 for three. Every plan runs the whole product; only the volume differs. Monthly, cancel whenever.

Can I move my existing articles over?

Your articles stay where they are, on your CMS. Visorank connects to the site you already have rather than hosting anything, so there is nothing to migrate and nothing to lose if you leave.

Can I try it before paying?

You can connect a site, run keyword research and see what people search for on a free account. Generating articles needs a paid plan, because each one costs real money in model and image calls.

Judge it on your own site

Connect one, run the research, and compare the output rather than the pricing pages.
