Small tools that do one thing, with nothing to sign up for
Most free SEO tools are a form that emails you a PDF. These are not that. They run in your browser, nothing is uploaded, and you can paste a draft you have not published yet without thinking about it.
Why the free tools you find are usually not free
The pattern is familiar: a tool that works until the result, then an email field. What you pasted is now on someone's server, and the number you wanted arrives in an inbox alongside a sequence you did not ask for.
For anything involving unpublished writing that is a real problem rather than an annoyance. A draft pasted into a form is a draft you no longer control.
What is here
Eight of them, each doing one thing properly. No account, no limits, and nothing leaves the page you are on.
- Word counter
- Counts as you type, with reading time. Nothing is sent anywhere, so an unpublished draft stays unpublished.
- Keyword density checker
- Which words and phrases repeat most, for single words and for two and three word phrases.
- Readability checker
- Flesch Reading Ease and grade level, plus the specific sentences doing the most damage.
- Headline and meta length
- Measured in pixels rather than characters, because Google truncates on rendered width. Illinois and lllllllll are the same number of characters and nowhere near the same width.
- The rest
- Slug generator, schema previewer and a few others, all on the same terms: open the page, use it, close the tab.
No account, no limits, nothing uploaded.
Start freeWhat they will not tell you
None of these see your site or your rankings. They work on text you paste, which is the trade for not needing an account.
They are free because they are useful on their own, and because some people who use them will want the work behind them done continuously. That is the whole business model and it seems fairer to say so than to pretend otherwise.

Start freeQuestions worth asking first
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no limit on how often you use them, and no email field at the end.
Is my text stored anywhere?
No. They run in your browser, so what you paste never reaches a server at all. That is also why they keep working if your connection drops.
Why measure titles in pixels rather than characters?
Because that is how Google cuts them off. A character count is a rough proxy that gets wide and narrow letters wrong in both directions, which is why a title that passes a character check still gets truncated.
