Find the Reddit threads already ranking for you
Reddit threads hold search positions for an enormous number of commercial queries. Some of those threads are people asking for exactly what you sell. Most advice about this ends at post more on Reddit, which is how accounts get banned.
Why does Reddit marketing usually backfire?
Because the threads worth replying to and the threads where a product mention gets you removed look identical from a keyword list. A thread in a subreddit that bans promotion is often the most relevant result for your keyword, and it is the most attractive row on any list sorted by relevance.
The usual outcome is a reply that reads as an advert, a removed comment, and in the subreddits that matter most, a banned account. The opportunity was real. The approach was wrong.
How does Visorank handle this?
It finds threads that already hold search positions for your keywords, and it tells you on each one whether mentioning your product is appropriate, in a sentence, before it offers to draft anything.
- Threads that already rank
- Found through search results rather than by scraping Reddit, which also answers the more useful question: not does this thread exist, but does it rank and where.
- Mention advice on every thread
- Three states: you can mention your product here, answer only and do not mention it, or do not mention it at all. Based on the subreddit's own stance on promotion.
- Thirty nine subreddits flagged as promotion-hostile
- Including the ones most on-topic for a marketing tool. The most relevant subreddit for your keyword is frequently the one that will remove you for naming a product.
- Thread age shown
- A thread from 2019 that still ranks is worth a different reply than one from last week, and old threads are marked rather than mixed in silently.
- Drafts you edit, not drafts you post
- The draft opens in an editable box with a checklist, because a reply posted verbatim reads as generated and is treated as such.

Run the free scanWhat it does not do
It does not post anything. There is no automation here and there will not be, because automated Reddit replies are how a brand ends up in a screenshot.
It does not read Reddit directly. Reddit's API requires a commercial licence this product does not hold, so threads are found through search results instead.
It cannot tell you a specific moderator's mood. The advice is based on subreddit rules and norms, and the final judgement is yours.

Will this get my account banned?
Not if you follow the advice on each thread. The feature exists specifically because the naive version of this gets accounts banned, and the mention advice is shown before the draft button rather than hidden behind it.
Does it use the Reddit API?
No. Reddit requires a negotiated commercial licence for API access at this scale, and scraping is blocked by their robots.txt. Threads are found through search results, which is public data and also tells you where each thread ranks.
Can it post replies automatically?
No, by design. Every draft is editable and the checklist exists to make editing the obvious next step rather than copying.
