An audit that checks both scoreboards

There are two ways a page fails now. It can be blocked from the index, in which case nothing else about it matters. Or it can be indexed perfectly and still never quoted, because there is no structured data on it and no question anywhere that an answer sits under.

Why do most audits miss half the problem?

Because they were designed when there was one scoreboard. They check titles, descriptions, redirects and broken links, all of which still matter, and report nothing about whether an AI assistant can extract an answer from the page.

A site can pass a conventional audit with a high score and be invisible in every AI answer about its own category. The audit was not wrong. It was measuring the only thing that existed when it was written.

What does this audit check?

Indexability first, because it caps everything else, then the signals that decide whether a page gets quoted, then the conventional checks.

Indexability, as a cap rather than a score
A page carrying noindex is worth nothing however well it is written, so it limits the overall score instead of averaging into it. A site half blocked cannot score above fifty.
AI citation readiness
Structured data, question-shaped headings with answers adjacent, and whether there is enough on the page to extract an answer from.
Titles, descriptions, links and alt text
The conventional checks, with the quick ones separated out: findings one person can fix in minutes without a developer.
Nothing measured returns null, not zero
A category that could not be checked says so. Zero means we looked and it is bad, which is a different claim.

What it does not do

It does not measure page speed. That needs a different kind of test and there are good free ones.

It does not log in, so anything behind a form is invisible to it.

The free version reads ten pages and the paid one reads more, but neither is a crawl of every URL on a large site.

Repeat audits, competitor scans and published articles, from thirty five dollars a month.

Questions worth asking first

Is the audit free?

A ten page version is, with no account and a report you can share. Larger crawls and repeat scans are part of the paid product.

What is AI citation readiness?

Whether a page is built so an assistant can lift an answer from it: structured data marking what the page is, headings phrased as the questions people ask, and the answer in the text directly under each one.

Why does one noindex page lower my whole score?

Because a page nothing can reach is worth nothing regardless of how it is written, and averaging that into a respectable overall score would tell you the opposite of the truth about those pages.
